Halifax-based public cloud provider Cloud A Computing has announced plans to merge operations with Saint John-based managed cloud and data centre operator Cirrus9.
The merger will create a new nationally focused IT infrastructure and cloud services provider.
"Cloud computing and managed services are revolutionizing IT infrastructure and we are committed to delivering innovative services, exceptional value and support to our customers," said Fred Bullock, CEO of Cirrus9.
"This deal enables us to provide a broad range of managed as well as on demand, self-managed hosting services to the Canadian market and beyond," he added.
"We doubled our customer base over the past few months," noted Brandon Kolybaba, CEO of Cloud-A. "This will give us the platform we need to continue that growth at that rate and even accelerate it."
