Healthy Desserts with Bananas
1. Banana Pancakes
We start our list of healthy desserts with an alternative for the delicious pancakes we all enjoy. Instead of using all the white flour, milk and butter you can use just 2 ingredients: bananas and eggs. Mash up a ripe banana, whisk 2 medium sized eggs and mix them together. Then pour spoonfulls of the mix onto a dry, heated pan and cook as you would pancakes. For added flavour, you can mix some blueberries or some vanilla. Also, if you’re a fan of maple syrup, make sure to use natural syrup and in very small quantities. Gluten free, packed with proteins!
2. Banana Cookies
You have a craving for chocolate chip cookies? Well, you could choose one of our healthy desserts: banana cookies. All you need are 2 ripe bananas ( mashed), oatmeal flakes ( the quantity isn’t exact, you have to feel the mixture, make sure it is dense enough). You can add some coconut flakes or whatever else suits your fancy and enjoy a healthier version of the classic cookies.
3. Frozen Banana
If you’re craving ice cream, you might find it useful to know that a frozen banana can do the trick! The taste is amazing and it is a lot healthier!
