Looking to show off those cooking skills this holiday season? The Minty Winter Mojito Ham is a playful dish that uses natural loose-leaf tea, along with a few other unique ingredients (such as rum), to create a rub that will supply your guests with a truly unique holiday dish.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup honey, lightly warmed
- 1/4 cup Minty Winter Wonderland
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup dark rum
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- Salt to taste
- Mint leaves for garnish
Directions
1. Purée honey, mint, oil and rum, and then set aside.
2. When ready to use, whisk in lime juice, season with salt to taste.
Gently simmer glaze to thicken. Next, dab your brush in the warm glaze and rub over ham during the last 30 to 40 minutes of roasting. If you have any glaze left over, it can be reduced further to thicken, and used as a side sauce.
